Your support of the Spartanburg Viking Band is important to our community.
Students who participate in band through their high school careers, are more likely to graduate.  They also perform higher academically.  This statistic is true across gender, ethnic, and economic class (National Association of Music Educators, 2014) (Journal of Educational Psychology 2019). 
The Spartanburg Viking Band needs your support.
Spartanburg High School has a diverse population including over 63% of students living in poverty (SC Department of Education Report Card 2019).  As a result, many of our students are not able to afford band fees, instruments or lessons.
Your contribution will be used to provide for various band groups within the Viking Band,  You will see these bands performing in various venues such as football games, concerts throughout the school year, community events such as Jazz on the Square, State Marching and Concert Band Competitions.

The Viking Band invites you to become a sponsor.  In so doing, you will help provide the best possible experience for all band students - from beginners to skilled musicians.  100% of your contribution goes directly towards supporting the band program and its students.
All Family and Business Sponsorships will be listed on our website and recognized at band events.
